The premier award in the Thai real estate industry, the “PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards” 18th Edition has announced an extension for nominations nationwide until September 8. The aim is to elevate the capabilities and showcase the potential of Thai real estate developers on the international stage, culminating in a grand announcement of the results on November 17, 2023.

The PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards, the longest-running real estate awards in Thailand, is set to return with grandeur for its 18th edition, extending the submission deadline to Friday, September 8, 2023, to provide opportunities for companies to participate as leading developers and projects recognized for their excellence in design and development in Thailand. This also aims to raise the gold standard in real estate. Submissions can be made via AsiaPropertyAwards.com.

The 18th PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards is supported at the platinum level by Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and at the gold level by Jones Lang LaSalle (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The gala dinner and award ceremony will take place on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Crystal Hall, The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, a luxury collection hotel that continues to be the venue for this long-standing celebration.

The schedule for the award judging in 2023 is as follows:

September 8, 2023 – Deadline for nominations
September 18 – October 12, 2023 – Project inspections by the judging panel
October 17, 2023 – Final award judging
November 17, 2023 – Gala dinner and award ceremony in Bangkok
December 8, 2023 – Regional gala dinner and award ceremony

The extension of the submission deadline and event date responds to the increasing interest from property developers and projects across Thailand, including Bangkok and its suburbs, as well as regions such as Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Khao Yai, Koh Phangan, Krabi, the northeastern region, Phang Nga, Phuket, Koh Samui, and coastal development projects. More than 80 categories are available for this year’s awards.

Eligible participants in all categories must undergo a rigorous selection process by an independent panel led by Ms. Suphin Meesuk, CEO of Sen X Public Company Limited and chair of the judging panel, along with experts from various fields, including real estate consultancy, architecture, interior design, and sustainable property development. The judging process is overseen by Mr. Paul Ashburn of HLB Thailand, a leading international accounting and consulting firm known for its fairness and transparency. Winners of the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards will also compete for regional awards at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final 2023, the 18th edition, on December 8, 2023, in Bangkok.

The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, established in 2005, recognizes various categories for high-quality projects in the real estate industry, covering property development, construction, architecture, interior design, and sustainable building practices. The series of awards has continuously evolved over the years to encompass the ever-changing real estate markets in the region, including Australia, China, Japan, and India.
